Donations in the amount of $2,500 each were made to the DeKalb County Community Foundation and Rochelle Area Community Foundation to assist the counties most affected by the storms.

“Our thoughts are with the families who lost loved ones and who are rebuilding their homes, businesses and communities after these storms,” said Nigel Blakeway, Omron Foundation President and CEO of Omron Management Center of America, Inc.

Kim Montgomery, Executive Director of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, said, “As we move into our long-term recovery phase after the April 9th tornadoes, we are so grateful for the support of the Omron Foundation in recognizing that our community’s needs are ongoing.”

In addition to these donations by Omron Foundation, Omron employees in the United States are encouraged to support relief efforts by making individual donations which are matched by Omron Foundation within program guidelines.
