Product Reviews

Kardia Mobile EKG is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hardware Software & Reports need improvement I bought the Kardia Monitor about two weeks ago. It has provided some good insight as to my heart rate and rhythm.. I found out about the product after purchasing an iWatch V1 and installing the cardiogram app. Unfortunately, my cardiologist does not participate in the program and I have not found a good way to print/export the data to bring in to my Dr at my next appointment. That is why I am giving this item a 4 star rating. Equipment is great. Apps, website and reports need work. I have been surprised that many people that I have shown this item to had never heard of it. And these are medical professionals. I cant wait for the Kardia Band to be released for use in the US.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Potential Life Saver Especially for Rural Areas Ever since my uncle experienced a heart attack out in the rural areas where EMS takes 8 to 15 mins to arrive, I had been looking for something like this product that can give advance notice of potential deadly problems for my family. We get so busy we tend not to have much time to visit our parents as much as we like or need to. However, when my uncle died as a result of his heart attack, the doctors kept telling us its difficult to catch these since many people, like my uncle, just wait for the symptoms that can mimic many other conditions that are not deadly, to go away. Had he had this, he probably would have received medical care in time and still be with us. For $99.99, which we easily spend on pointless things in one or two days, could be used as a way for our loved to determine if their symptoms are not the normal heartburn. shoulder and arm pain or other similar common symptoms. Many times my dad refuses to go the ER or call an ambulance cause it is too expensive, $4000 plus, and has had a few non-emergency symptoms. With this device, it takes the guess work out and allows him to make the call even if in doubt... For now he is still with us, and yes I know everyone goes sometimes, but I want to be able to say that I did what I could and plus I would be so ashamed to think $99.99 would be too expensive even if it allowed me just one more day with my family,, especially my parents... You won't be sorry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this is amazing! I had a massive heart attack on 11/29/16 and have 6 Stents. I also have a low EF of 35% so my heart is not in great shape. This however gives me peace of mind for the little abnormal rhythms I feel but the doctor has been unable to catch even with a holter monitor. Seems like i never have a spell when i wear a monitor but this has allowed me to easily catch these rhythms and print them out and take them to the doctor. Also for the icing on the cake, my mother wasn't feeling well and she said her heart rate felt like it was up. I had her use this and it detected she was in Afib so straight to the hospital we went. Probably saved her life cause she would've never went to the hospital had it not been for this. I see a lot of reviews of people where people are complaining that they charge a $9.99 fee for more features. This is a drop in the bucket for people that need it! You don't have to pay this fee. You're still able to record your EKG without paying it. You must can't save previous EKG's. My advice to help offset some of the negativity of this is for AliveCor to include maybe one doctor review a month. This should help with all the complaining. The one and only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the Omron blood pressure monitor syncs with Apple but not with Android. As soon as this is compatible though, I'd give it 6 stars if possible! I'd also like to see AliveCor work with numerous scale companies to get some scales that'll automatically sync with the app as those of us with CHF closely track our weight. Thankfully it can be manually input but having it sync would allow for much greater ease of use!
