Three-year partnership plans to boost treatment diagnosis and awareness among healthcare providers
BANNOCKBURN, Ill. – November 16, 2010 – Omron Healthcare today announced support for the American Heart Association’s broad-based healthcare awareness campaign that will educate providers on hypertension treatment recommendations, including home blood pressure monitoring and best practices for integrating this into their standard of care. The goal of the campaign is to reach 50,000 healthcare providers by 2013 with the necessary online tools and resources to empower patients, enhance patient/provider communication and improve patient outcomes. The American Heart Association Toolkit is made possible with funding from Omron Healthcare.
