Omron 7 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 85.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Health Tool I purchased the 7 Series wrist BP monitor from After reading the directions completely I installed the batteries and proceeded to take BP readings. I was surprised at how easy this unit works. It is also very accurate If you follow the instructions to the letter. My girlfriend was a RN before going into business for herself. She helped to verify the accuracy with her manual upper arm unit. There were some differences but they weren't wide differences. She said that was normal and that even she was surprised at how accurate this wrist unit is. Anyway, it was a good purchase and will let me keep track of my BP at home and do it easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Innumerable recommendations As a practicing internist for the past 35 years I have struggled with diagnosing and monitoring hypertension in my patient population. Several years ago I read about the series 7 wrist cuff in Consumer Reports and purchased my own unit. I realized this is a very accurate and easy to use device. Many of my patients are seniors on a fixed incomes and I have recommended this device to all of my hypertensive patients. So easy to review with the memory function and so economical! My patients love it and seems very accurate. Thanks for this product and I just purchased my second unit. John Palmer MD

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easier to use than I thought it would be. After heart problems, my cardiologist told me to take my blood pressure and pulse rate twice per day, morning and bedtime. I bought an Omron upper arm machine and used it diligently for over two years, and decided that a wrist model would be easier if it were accurate. After doing my due diligence, I bought a model 7 wrist machine and it has mad the exercise so easy and can be done so quickly that I can't believe it. After reading the instructions, I took the machine to my doctor to check it against the nurses reading and found that the machine worked great. I use it daily and wouldn't have any other machine, but people must read the instructions and follow them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, Better Than Old Arm Unit My old arm unit "broke" and I ordered the Omron 7 Model BP652 from Amazon and am very satisfied. The wrist unit is easy to apply to my wrist, easy to use, easy to understand. My overall thoughts are it is EASY!!! My wrists are very small and the readings I get are about the same as with the arm unit I had and I like the Intellisense for Irregular Heartbeat Detection. I am sorry I waited so long to purchase the Omron. The price is right and a good shopper can find some good deals on a quality product. There are several other Omron products for "breathing issues" that are in my future for purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Many good features. I have had this unit almost a year now and because of the directions that come with it are not really good. Especially if you have a small wrist. Well I finally called the company and a wonderful man helped me to do it correctly. So now I am happy I love it. It is just tricky make sure it is at least 1/2 inch above the wrist bone. and the face or read out is positioned with the middle even with you thumb. I am now a happy camper wish I knew this sooner. Even the online u tube does not talk about the 1/2 inch above the wrist bone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup and consistant measurements. I put the batteries in and set it up without reading anything. Comfortable fit. It doesn't go overpressure first, like most monitors that measure coming down. This measures going up, so it stops pressurizing after the measurements are taken, and only enough pressure to get the measurements..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Accurate I've had this a few months now. I bought it based on reviews on Amazon, but my experience has been very poor. My home measurements were consistently high so I took the unit with me to the doctors office and we tested it against their equipment both manual and electronic and this device measured 15 to 20 points higher. Needless to say it is not usable. I'm really sorry it doesn't work as the concept is very good. I will be buying the 10 series, should have done that from the beginning and could have saved some cash and time.
